In Luke's biography of Jesus there is doubt. When the women returned from the Jesus' tomb claiming he had been raised, we read: "Yet the apostles did not believe them, because these reports seemed like nonsense to them" (page 72).

In fact, even with the resurrected Jesus standing right in front of them, the disciples "still did not believe because of joy and amazement" (page 74).

The disciples were persuaded in the end, but questions and doubt were steps along the way.

For 2000 years people have been exploring questions about Jesus.

Real questions of the head, honest concerns of the heart and practical applications for the hand - these have been the issues that every generation has set before the Christian faith.

We think that there are thoughtful, honest, workable responses that can be made to many of the questions asked of Christianity. Some frequently asked issues are set out below.
