Straight Up!

This the church's youth programme. The name Straight Up! reflects our desire to see young people (high school age) presented with Jesus Christ in a way that is current, relevant and in the way God intended it to be: Straight Up!

Our Aims

• To connect hearts together through fellowship
• To grow to be like Jesus through discipleship
• To serve others in love through ministry
• To share the Story of Jesus through evangelism
• To surrender our lives through worship

Sundays

Our programme starts at 10am in the Sunday morning service, with young people moving off to the Baptist Youth Centre part-way through the service. This time is focussed towards our aims listed above. It is an intensive time of looking at God's Word, which is followed up through the week with e-mails of encouragement and personal visits.

Fridays

We meet regularly on Friday nights for a range of activities. Incorporated into this time is Hard Questions: a series of thought provoking questions aimed at generating discussion around real issues that connect life with the Gospel.
